About Nick

Nick been a full time Realtor and Insurance Agent since 2006 becoming part of the third generation of The Slocum Agency, Inc. & Slocum Realty, a family owned & operated business that has served Rhode Island since 1949.  Since 2006 Nick has had the pleasure of helping many buyers and sellers accomplish their goals and has strived to continue to improve his skills through continuing education.  In the past few years Nick has achieved the designations of Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and e-PRO. He also is in the process of working towards his CIC, or Certified Insurance Counselor, designation which is one of the most highly respected designations in the insurance industry.

Nick has further enhanced his career with his commitment to the community as has his family before him.  He has enjoyed tremendous involvement with the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce, Kent Washington Board of Realtors and Independent Insurance Agents of Rhode Island Young Agents Group just to name a few.  He believes in the concept of giving back to the community that has so graciously supported him.  Nick has been born and raised in Warwick attending Warwick schools including Bishop Hendricken High School.  He graduated from Nichols College in Dudley, MA with concentrations in Marketing, Management and Human Resources.  Some of his passions and hobbies include golf, skiing, boating and fishing.
